Rep. Mark Walker Officially Files to Run in NC’s Sixth Congressional District

Greensboro—Former pastor and Congressman Mark Walker officially filed to run in NC’s Sixth Congressional District amid an outpouring of support from over 40 members of Congress, sheriffs, and local leaders.

“Since announcing our decision to run for Congress, Kelly and I have been overwhelmed by the support that we have received from people all over the district. North Carolinians want a proven conservative leader that will fight to secure our border and balance the budget,” said Rep. Walker. “Before I was redistricted out of North Carolina’s 6th district by a leftist lawsuit and a handful of Raleigh elites, I was honored to serve the people of central North Carolina in the U.S. Congress, and look forward to doing so again in 2024.”

The campaign office is located at 4000 Piedmont Parkway High Point, NC.

Mark Walker is running as a Republican candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives in the Sixth District. Rep. Walker previously served three terms in the US House of Representatives where he was elected chair of the Republican Study Committee (RSC), the largest caucus in Congress, and was also the 4th highest-ranked member in the GOP House. Rep. Walker and his wife Kelly, a family nurse practitioner and flight trauma specialist, have been married for thirty years and have three children.
