Governor Stein Announces District Court Appointment
(RALEIGH) Today Governor Josh Stein announced the following judicial appointment:
Johnathon Naylor to the District Court for Judicial District 5, serving Duplin, Jones, Onslow, and Sampson counties. Naylor is filling the vacancy created after the Honorable William B. “Billy” Sutton, Jr. retired.
Naylor has worked as an attorney at Castle, Peterson & Naylor, P.C. since 2017 and currently serves as treasurer of the Onslow County Bar Association. He received his Bachelor of Science from Campbell University and his Juris Doctor from the Campbell University School of Law.
“Johnathon Naylor’s legal experience and commitment to his community make him well suited for this role,” said Governor Josh Stein. “I look forward to his service on the bench.”
