RALEIGH — North Carolina consumers and state payors will receive more than $700,000 through a $29.6 million multistate settlement with Glenmark over allegations tied to generic prescription drug price-fixing, according to the North Carolina Department of Justice.

The department said the agreement resolves allegations that Glenmark participated in communications among competing drug industry executives, sales representatives and pricing staff to manipulate generic drug prices and reduce competition.
