The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends anyone 18 years or older who received the Pfizer or Moderna COVID-19 vaccine get a booster six months after their second dose to help strengthen and extend protections against COVID-19. This comes after the Food and Drug Administration authorized the boosters for such use today.
United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Under Secretary for Rural Development Xochitl Torres Small today announced that USDA is investing $14 million to build and improve critical community facilities in North Carolina.
The state’s seasonally adjusted October unemployment rate was 4.1 percent, decreasing 0.2 of a percentage point from September’s revised rate. The national rate decreased 0.2 of a percentage point to 4.6 percent.
