Blake Boykin, businessman, and the Chairman of the Wilson County Board of Education, announced today that he will run for North Carolina House in the November 3, 2026 election. Boykin, a Republican, will challenge the Democratic State Representative for the 24th House District seat, which includes all of Wilson County and part of Nash County.

They expanded Medicaid to include hundreds of thousands of childless, able-bodied North Carolinians — without a realistic means of paying the bill.
Governor Josh Stein announced today that 27 counties across the state will receive more than $204 million in funding for 48 drinking water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
